The Bernadette N. Swan Social Care Foundation is a caring organization that is very interested in the relationships between the elderly and the younger generation.
Anecdotally, seniors told us that they need more support from the younger generation. They also told us that they need to be able to get together and share their history with the younger generation.
These needs resonate into a medium that helps seniors relate positively to young people and create a greater support system for the youth in their communities.
Thus, seniors can actively connect with and contribute to the wellbeing of youth. Also, seniors can develop leadership skills in themselves and promote their ongoing community involvement.
